Next Seabug: May 5th, 2:00 to 5:30 PM.

The powerful animation tool Blender has been making headlines in 3D industries for several years now. Free and open source, it stands shoulder to shoulder with commercial 3D programs and often exceeds them. The Seattle Blender User Group (or Seabug) aims to connect Blender users together for the sharing of information and ideas, as well as attract new users all around the Pacific Northwest.

Topics and guests for Next Seabug

  • Beginner hour: modeling industrial accessories
  • Game Engine Physics
  • Lighting and compositing a futuristic ship hangar
  • Monster creation
  • And more!

If you have any projects you would like to show off, a tutorial you can do, or complaints about too many exclamation points, please contact the event admin and we'll get you taken care of. We'd love to see your stuff!

NOTE: The room is USUALLY 104. However, day-of plans might change that. Signage about the correct room will be posted at AIS.

OTHER NOTE: RSVPing isn't necessary, but without your email it might be hard to keep you informed of future Seabugs. So if you'd like to be on the Seabug mailing list, contact Oscar.

OTHER OTHER NOTE: If you're a beginner, don't feel relegated to only Beginner Hour! Seeing masterful projects you don't understand is one of the catalysts that leads to 3D obsession.

If you'd like to further discuss Blender and Seabug amongst your peers, do so at the BlenderArtists forum: http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=197137
